GROUNDSTORY | landscape + architecture (GSLA) was founded in 2016 by landscape architect Arjun Sharma, and Gaurav Shetty, architect & interior designer.
Inspired by the works of mid-century architecture greats and the art-house sensibilities of contemporary cinema, we enjoy talking about design and the spirit and serendipity of places.
With a sharp focus on design intricacies, keen attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship, our goal is to experiment with design, while staying true to stories that highlight the singularities of local Indian designscapes.
GSLA specializes in landscape design, architecture, interior design, site planning / site management strategies and natural resource management.
GROUNDSTORY is currently collaborating with firms such as S+PS Architects, Mumbai; Serie Architects, Mumbai; Sp+A, Mumbai; Mayfair Housing, Mumbai; JSW, Mumbai; AICPL, Thane; Nakshatra group, Thane; Eco-First (a TCE subsidiary) and Saraf Architecture Associates, Nasik - on a wide range of projects.
arjun sharma is a landscape architect and landscape planner

his professional interests include land art, urban open spaces and landscape narratives and he teaches landscape theory as visiting faculty at the Rachana Sansad's Academy of Architecture
